Dozens of Dogs Walked for WADARS!

The sun shone on Highdown Hill on Sunday 18 April 2010 as approximately 100 people and their canine companions took part in the 3rd Walk for WADARS.
We couldn’t have asked for better weather for people and dogs alike – beautiful sun and a light breeze to keep furry friends cool – perfect!
The walk was also a great opportunity for the WADARS dogs to have a day out. Several of the dogs needing new homes joined in and thoroughly enjoyed playing with the other dogs and getting lots of cuddles.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who took part and made this event so enjoyable and successful. Once all the sponsor money is received, we hope to improve on last year’s fantastic total! I’ll keep you all posted.
A big thanks also to The Spotted Cow Pub in Angmering who made us all so welcome and ensured there was a constant supply of fresh water for all the dogs.
Date for your diaries: the next Walk for WADARS will probably be held on Sunday 19 September 2010, but keep checking here or the WADARS website for more details nearer the time!
