Have you ever considered fostering?

As an animal lover, I cannot imagine not having pets and, working here, it is tempting to take home every animal who comes through the door! However, with the rising cost of living it is important to be sensible and stick to the number of pets you can afford and 2 cats is my financial limit.
If you are keen to have a pet, but really do not have the resources to support one, have you ever considered fostering? Cats Protection have a scheme for cats who need to live in a home until they are able to be rehomed, possibly because they need to recuperate after injury or because they have been traumatised in some way.
All the while you are fostering, you will not be responsible for the cost of any veterinary treatment or food.
The rewards are enormous. You will give a cat the chance at a better life, restore their trust in people and ensure that they have a settled and happy future with their new family.
Take a look at the Cats Protection website for more information or contact Rod Austin at the Worthing branch of Cats Protection on 01903 765580.
