Baby pigeons - continued
Posted by Abigail on 09/07/08, filed under Wildlife |A lady contacted us further to our post about the baby pigeons, enquiring about the best action to take as she had found one who couldn’t yet fly.
If the bird is uninjured, always leave it where it is if at all possible. The parents will be keeping a watchful eye on their baby and continue to feed it even if it is not in the nest.
Baby birds need a very special diet so it is inadvisable for members of the public to try to rear them.
For more information have a look at the RSPCA website.
