Scally had flea allergic dermatitis which went untreated as her owner would not pay vet’s bills. Luckily, this cruelty did not go unnoticed and following a successful prosecution by the RSPCA, Scally now has a loving new home. Check out the full story on the BBC website.

Remember, you have a duty of care to ensure your pet is fit and healthy – flea and worm treatment are fundamental regular healthcare and you must budget for these when you take on an animal.

Take a look at the RSPCA website for details of what your new puppy or kitten needs.
