If you like a spot of culture, this delightful evening in the great outdoors is definitely for you.
Cats Protection is hosting an outdoor performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the grounds of the National Cat Centre in Ashdown Forest (RH17 7TT) on Thursday 18 June 2009.
Gates open at 6 pm and the café will be open until the start of the performance at 7.30 pm.
The performance will last approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes and includes a 20 minute interval.
Tickets are £15 (£9 for children) and are available by calling 01825 741 900. Everyone is encouraged to bring low-backed chairs, rugs, cushions and a picnic. Wear layers as it can still get chilly at night and bring waterproofs in case of showers. Umbrellas will not be allowed – Cats Protection suggest ‘wearing a hat, a poncho and a smile instead!’
The event is part of Paws Outdoors, which is a month long campaign to raise money by doing what cats love most – relaxing outside!
