Autumn Walk for WADARS – update

On Sunday 11 October 2009, more than 60 people and their dogs took a lovely leisurely walk over Highdown Hill and raised a whopping £1,100 for WADARS!!!
It was once again a delightful event, all the dogs were beautifully behaved (although some were a significantly different colour on the return journey!) and a fabulous time was had by all – even the weather was ok!
Enormous thanks go to everyone who joined in, raising so much money and making it so much fun and the Spotted Cow Pub in Angmering who provided welcome refreshment. A special mention goes to my mum who sat in the cold collecting money and ensuring everyone got their certificates!
These walks are now going to be a regular event so keep checking this blog and the WADARS website for forthcoming events.
